The berimbau is supplied with:

• its arame (steel wire),

• a baqueta (playing stick),

• a stone (striking stone).

The caxixi, a traditional accessory used with the berimbau, is sold separately (see accessories section).

Important information

This item is a traditional musical instrument and not a toy.

It is intended for Capoeira practice, musical learning and the discovery of Brazilian culture.

The use of this instrument by young practitioners must be supervised by an adult or instructor. Do not allow a child to use the instrument without supervision.

Instrument preparation

To make the first use easier, these berimbaus may be delivered partially assembled and tensioned at approximately 80%.

This preparation allows easier use upon arrival, especially for people who are not yet familiar with the berimbau assembly technique.

If you prefer to receive the berimbau unassembled, as with traditional models, please let us know when placing your order.

As each berimbau is handmade, every instrument is unique. Slight differences may occur between the product received and the photos shown.

We nevertheless guarantee excellent quality and a very attractive appearance.
