Covinha (Cécile Bennegent) is a French woman who practices / teaches capoeira in the Senzala school in Lyon. In the early 2000s, as part of a postgraduate degree in Socio-Anthropology at the University of Lyon II and after several trips to Brazil she wrote a book and co-wrote a documentary film that both deals with the Capoeira.
