Frederico José de Abreu or Frede Abreu is no longer with us, he left for the "lands of Aruanda" in July 2013, but he left as an inheritance an important work, through the numerous books, articles, chronicles and texts that he has written. But he also left a huge, rich and organized collection of documents, books, photographs, films, magazines, newspapers, etc. which can be considered as the largest collection of existing capoeira.
Today his daughter Elzinha, continues the work of his father as a distributor of the few books he remains in stock. She sometimes undertakes the re-edition (enriched) of some works. It is thanks to the latter that we still have access to this important work of research.
