Samba Capoeira Wooden Whistle

Handmade and wooden "Apito" whistle (imported from Brazil). Useful for leading rodas or Capoeira lessons (see additional description).

Originally designed to lead a Brazilian percussion orchestra. 2 tones (The hole on the top is used to modify the sound emitted like on a flute).

Mestre Bimba used to use a whistle for several reasons. To referee during the roda (start / end of the game without stopping the berimbau), to attract attention, during training etc.
