Berimbau from the workshop of Mestre Valmir (FICA Bahia). Rigid biriba wood selected with care. Double thickness of leather for a better longevity. The finish is perfect (wood and stick well smooth and straight). The discrete and pretty decoration (pyrography) are the signature of the berimbaus of the Mestre Valmir.

Sold complete with arame, baguette in biriba, caxixi and stone. Wood of biriba. 155cm approximately.
 
Mestre Valmir (not to be confused with Valmir das Biribas) teaches Capoeira Angola in Salvador de Bahia and produces quality berimbaus in addition to being beautiful. The latter uses 4 variations of berimbaus, namely:
- viola
- medio
- gunga
- berra boi
The latter being a big gunga. Indeed, according to his needs and other berimbaus in the roda he will prefer a gunga or a berra boi.
 
Our berimbaus are delivered disarmed (relaxed) for a better longevity and to avoid the breakage during the transport. Unless exception (some schools), it is advisable to disarm its berimbau after each use.
