Dobrão of metal for berimbau. New model 2018. This is a metal piece, rather heavy, which replaces the stone (or pebble) to play the berimbau. It is one of the accessories of the berimbau like the wand or the caxixi.

The dobrão is the name of a Portuguese and Brazilian currency that circulated during the reign of Dom João V (1707-1750). Considered as the most intrinsic value of the currency in circulation in the world.
The name also refers to a Spanish coin, worth two shells or 32 reais.
