Daniel Coutinho - Mestre Noronha - August 3, 1909 - November 17, 1977.

1909 - Born August 3 in Beco do Girassol, Baixa dos Sapateiros, Salvador. Son of José Coutinho and Maria Conceição.

1917 - He begins his apprenticeship of capoeira with M Cândido Pequeno (Cândido da Costa) in Beco de Xaréu. The same year, he describes a round of capoeira at Curva Grande in his book.

1920 - With his brother M Livino Boca da Barra (Livino Malvadeza), he founded the Center Capoeira Angola Conceição da Praia and taught at Maciel de Baixo, n ° 31, in Salvador.

1941 - With other masters, he delivers his national center of origin of capoeira in Angola to Ladeira da Pedra, Gengibirra, to Liberdade to M Pastinha.

1968 - Takes part in Jair Moura's film titled Dança de Guerra.

1971 - Provides information for Jair Moura's article. The Capoeira article "Capoeirista de antigamente não brincava em Servço" was published in the newspaper A Tarde, in Salvador, on July 10.

1976 - On April 29, he completed his book titled O ABC DA CAPOEIRA ANGOLA - The Manuscripts of Mestre Noronha. Frede Abreu published it in 1993.

1977 - He died on November 17.
