Dobrão in stainless steel for berimbau. The doubloon (in French) is a metal piece, quite heavy, which replaces the stone (or pebble) to play the berimbau. It is one of the accessories of the berimbau like the baguette or the caxixi. In stainless steel, this dobrão will resist over time. Anti-slip sculpture so that the dobrão does not slip from the fingers while playing.

Made in Portugal.

The dobrão is the name of a Portuguese and Brazilian currency that circulated during the reign of Dom João V (1707-1750). Considered the largest coin of intrinsic value in circulation in the world
The name also refers to a Spanish coin, worth two shells or 32 reais.
